A daily design challenge
“Good, better, best. Never let it rest.
’Til your good is better and your better is best.”
OVERVIEW
As an effort to sharpen my visual design skills, I decided to take on the Daily UI Challenge for 100 days. Everyday, I will receive an User Interface design prompt. And with my interpretation, I will create a variety of solutions in my spare time.
ABOUT
Role: Interaction/Visual Designer
Duration: November 2017 - Present
Tools Used: Sketch, Photoshop, Principle
Day 001
Sign Up
This prompt allowed me to exercise a number of different approaches to a mobile sign-up page.
Day 002
Credit Card Checkout
This prompt gave me the opportunity to really pay attention to the mobile payment flow. It is common for a site or app to require the user to enter credit card and billing information one-by-one. To reduce the cognitive load and friction, I went with a more dynamic experience with the ability of switching from card to card, and adding new card by using the phone's camera.
